PATIENCE:A good soul winner is never tired of sharing the word or praying for a targeted soul just as Abraham did for Sodom and Gomorrha. The scriptures said, ‘Be patient, unto the coming of the lord . Behold the husbandman(soul winners) waiteth for the precious fruit(souls) of the earth and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and the rain’.(James 5:7)
LOVE: Without showing love, soul winning would be extremely difficult. A brother once said the main reason why he decided to abide permanently in the church I attend is that on his first visit,(on a very hot day) he was given a very chilled bottle of cocacola. Not that he could not get one for himself, but…. There so many ways you can show love especially by giving material things.
EXEMPLARY: One of the major issues Christ had with the Scribes and the Pharisees was that they weren’t giving good examples to others wit their lifestyle hence they preached do as I say but not do as I do.
MEEKNESS Your job as a soul winner is mainly being physically present to speak and nothing else. It’s God that draweth souls near by His spirit-‘He shall not strive nor cry, never shall any man hear His voice on the street.'(Matthew 12:19)
NEVER ASHAMED: So many people do not go out for evangelism because they’re ashamed of either preaching or carrying their bibles
around.
Christ said, ‘whosoever shall confess Me before men, him will I confess also before my father…'(Matthew 10:32-33)
HARDWORKING: As a soul winner, you need to establish yourself as a success by hardwork.-‘Study to show thyself approved, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth'(2Timothy 2:15)
